Pine Island Florida is a unique hidden paradise.
If you have never heard of Pine Island Florida you are in for a big surprise. Our communities are tucked into Lee County’s northwest corner and are celebrated by tropical fruit lovers, commercial fishermen and recreational anglers, bird-watchers, artists and our year-round residents. Pine Island Florida is 17 miles long and is a 15-minute drive from Cape Coral and 30 minutes from Fort Myers, but Pine Island Florida offers a small-town, secluded atmosphere that seems a world apart from the rest of the metropolitan area. Pine Island Florida has no traffic signals anywhere on the island. The Island is surrounded by mangroves, with a large portion of the Island zoned agricultural. Pine Island Florida has escaped the skyscraper developments that many other Florida islands have succumbed to. Height and density zoning limits allow for future growth while preserving the island atmosphere.
